Kauniainen Equestrian Club (KRG)
was registered in 1998. The club operates at Kauniainen Equestrian
Center / Peik's Equestrian School and has over 300 members. Kauniainen
Equestrian Club is a member club of the Finnish Equestrian Association
(SRL).
KRG organizes various events
for the whole family, show-jumping and dressage competitions,
as well as provides conditions for the association members in
their equestrian activities and promotes horsemanship among its
members. KRG also enables members to compete even in district
level together in co-operation with the Equestrian School.
Approximately half of the riders
are juniors and therefore youngsters are important group in the
KRG activities. Every Saturday KRG has Junior Club meetings at
the Equestrian Center. In these meetings the youngsters, among
other things, learn about horsemanship and to groom horses. In
the Junior Club they also have a chance to spend time together
with other youngsters with mutual interests.
Members of the club have many
opportunities to learn more about horses and equestrian sports.
Members also receive Hippos-magazine and insurance to cover any
