Competition show-jumper Peik Andersin founded the Peik's Equestrian School in 1992. The school specializes in show-jumping. The school's spirit is Peik himself, who has made fine career as a professional show-jumper and as such is also example for many of the riders.

Riding is much more than just learning the techniques -it is of utmost importance to learn to feel the correct riding, which can only be achieved by learning to know and to feel the horses. In addition to good riding techniques Peik emphasizes the importance of horsemanship and the co-operation between the rider and the horse; horse should always be treated correctly according to the demands of each situation. When we do our work properly and allow the horse to do his work, there is surely to be found good co-operation and good results. To quote General Ehnrooth "Equestrian Sports is one of the finest forms of sports, because it is the only event where both the performer and the equipment are living creatures. They both have brains, a horse has horse's brain and a man has man's brain."
